BREAKING NEWS!!! MATCHING GRANT FOR $7,000!!!
We’ve all heard about “The Trickle Down Effect” – the theory that benefits given to people at the top of a system will eventually be passed on to people lower down the system – well it’s not working so well. As you know, fundraising for non-profits has been a rough road this year, and our donation levels have gone down this year. We are very fortunate to have a very generous donor step up to offer a $7,000 matching grant. Any donations received between November 16th and December 30th will qualify for the matching grant.
Let’s change our expression to “A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats” - the idea being that if the economy improves, every participant in the economy will be in an improved financial situation. Please consider making this $7,000 become $14,000 and help lift a few boats! Your generosity makes a big difference to so many people in need of urgent and emergency assistance in South SLO County. We don’t have another potluck until January 17, 2023. This is our last push for 2023.
