PROJECTS

The Feminine Hygiene Product Drive

The drive started on April 1 and ran through April 30, 2022. Lola Zybura and Lisa Chadwick are still organizing and getting ready to distribute all these wonderful donations to the agencies in need. This picture only shows small amount of what was collected at Lola's and Sue's house. Lisa is bring donations collected at her home and at Trilogy. A huge thank you to everyone who bought, brought feminine hygiene products to the drop off sites and to all who made cash donations.

Other Projects

We are looking for leaders of a couple of other projects for the fall. Leaders recruit a team to help with the project. Womenade will make the initial contact with the agencies to determine need and will supply team with contact information for ongoing communications and deliveries.

In September we would like to run a general toiletries drive.

In October we would like to run a “we missed the bus” drive specifically for teachers who still need specific school items for their students once the "stuff the bus" drives are done. Teachers are always reaching into their own pockets for additional school supplies.

Please email us at sslocwomenade@gmail.com if you would like to run one of these projects.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT LOPEZ HIGH SCHOOL – Do you like to teach and like to cook. The culinary class teacher is interested in people who would like to teach a cooking class. Each class runs about 50 minutes, and she teaches 3 class a day. Class times run from
