So much to share with you - lots of good reading!

We’re three weeks into January and have so much to share with you-

  • Our next ZOOM virtual “foodless potluck” fundraising gathering

  • A review of the Parenting “Learning” Bags

  • The ever popular “Where did your donations go?”

ZOOM Fundraising

Our next virtual “foodless potluck” is February 18th at 5PM. As many of you know our potlucks have been our primary fundraising events with “world famous” food!

We can’t wait to get back to our in person real potluck and to see you all in person and taste that world famous food! In the meantime we will keep on with the ZOOM version without any of that fabulous food.

Here is the link to the ZOOM meeting to be used on February 18th:

We will have some fun, hear from our advocates and raise some much needed funds. Below you’ll see what our advocates have been up to during December – it’s been a wild ride.

We have a suggested donation of $50 which was set originally as the equivalent of what a good meal out might cost. We gladly accept donations of all sizes!

We are looking for donations of raffle prizes for our May meeting. If you have any items you’d like to give us for a raffle prize, please email us at sslocwomenade@gmail.com

Current Project -Parenting Learning Bags

Our latest project runs from now until the end of February. The list of items is at the end of this email. A couple of suggestion:

You may want to join up with one or two others to fill a bag.

Each bag should be labeled with the level of the items and please put your name on the bag.

If you purchase individual items, please put them in a bag and label which level they are for.

Where to drop off bags is in the list below.

Where did your donations go?

Below you will read about so many urgent and emergency needs fulfilled by our very busy, dedicated advocates – we thank them for their work! Your donations made a huge difference!
