THANKSGIVING BASKET GRATITUDE
Here are some wonderful comments from some of the families who received the Fabulous Thanksgiving Baskets!
A parent from Oceano said: We were so grateful for the food! We had a fun time unloading each bag, and the kids were so excited to see what was going to come out of each bag. They were beside themselves when the cookies and cake appeared! The turkey was so delicious. It was so large that we were able to eat multiple times, enjoying sandwiches, turkey salad, turkey broth, turkey soup, and best yet, turkey pot pie! How can we ever say thank you enough to Womenade! You made our Thanksgiving extra special as the food became a symbol of kindness, comfort, and gratitude. Thank you again.
Another family said ‘Les agradezco mucho por todas las cosas que nos dieron. Tuvimos nuestra cena completa. Fue un detalle muy bonito de su parte, que Dios se los multiplique mucho con bendiciones Muchas gracias” !!! Translation - Thank you very much for all the things you gave us. We had our full dinner. It was a very nice thing for you to do for us, may God multiply blessings for you! Thank you”!!!
A little girl said: "I love mashed potatoes, I ate a lot. So much! My tummy was so full from the yummy mash potatoes!"
A little boy said: “El día del pavo, comí mucho pavo y me gusto, gracias" Translation – On turkey day, I ate a lot and I liked it very much, thank you!
From Ruby Alcantar – Supervisor at Step by Step early head start at Lopez High School -We want to say thank you on behalf of our families. We had 7 families who picked up their Thanksgiving bags here at the center. Then, we delivered to eight more families who weren't able to pick it up. I have attached a picture of the ones that were delivered. Thanks again!
